There is a party mood happening today because I've got tablescapes on the brain people. I'm styling a table for a local charity event this evening and then I'm hosting a big party at my house in June, so Pinterest and I have been chatting of nothing but linens, flowers, napkins and silverware. (forks on the left...i always forget)
So I thought I would share some pretty inspiration pics with you. Because I don't know about you, but I enjoy a good looking table when I sit down to my catered dinner.
I'll be sure to share pictures from tonight's event sometime next week.
So what do you think? Does it get you in the mood to have a party? If you do, can I come? I am full of sparkling conversation.
And btw, don't forget to sign up for the great
Indie Mats Giveaway! You only have until Monday.
I like the polka dot and striped table above with the blue napkin ring. I find it too stressful to plan parties, but I do like to attend them. Good luck tonight, I'm looking forward to seeing what you have done!
ReplyDeleteooh i can't wait to see what you come up with!
ReplyDeleteFun! I love styling dinner tables!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful inspiration! Will you be telling us more about tonight's event? You are so in-demand!
ReplyDeleteit does! We haven't entertained once since we moved to richmond and I miss it. I can't wait to get back into it. I love a good tablescape!
ReplyDeleteOhh I sure do love a gorgeous table scape...although to be honest I don't think I've ever sat at one that really caught my fancy. This needs to change asap.
ReplyDeleteSo many lovely ideas!
ReplyDeleteSo inspiring! I love a good tablescape, but I must admit, I don't think putting them together is my strong suit. I think I get overwhelmed. I did one years ago at a charity event and while I think it turned out okay, it stressed me out much more than regular decorating does. I think good ole Eddie Ross is the king of tablescapes. I can't wait to see yours!
ReplyDeleteP.S. - I used to forget which side the forks and knives went on too, but I had a built-in reminder - my initials growing up were KR (knives - right) and my sister was SR (spoons - right). Thus, the forks had to be on the left. Now dessert spoons and all that - I'm lost.
I love the first one and the bright pink one... so much color! Cute blog, I'm so glad I found it! Checkout mine if you have a free moment!

I love a good tablescape. Can't wait to see how you deck it out.
ReplyDeleteIt does get me all hot and bothered about throwing a party. Too bad I have plywood subfloors in the dining room right now.
ReplyDeleteThese are all fantastic inspiration photos -- can't wait to see the pics from tonight!
ReplyDeleteThe thought behind each one of these tables is outstanding. They all are amazing and so carefully done! Each element relates to the next.
ReplyDeleteYes, the fork is on the left! Do you know where the wine glass goes? Ha
I'm always in the mood for a party! I could stare at great tablescapes all the live long day. Eddie Ross is the KING of tablescapes as is Joe Nye!
ReplyDeleteThey all look so inspiring and I have to tell you Elizabeth, I'm a huge tablescaper, maybe not as great as your examples, But I LOVE doing them (Sometimes, loving them so much I make an excuse to invite friends over, hahaha!). Check out my easter table if you have time under the EASTER page. :-)
ReplyDeleteYou're in a party mood and I must be in a polka dot mood because I am drawn to all the table settings with polka dots! So stinking cute!
ReplyDeleteCan't wait to see how your event goes! These are all fab tablescapes... presentation is half the meal in my opinion!

ReplyDeleteLoved seeing your sneak peeks on Instagram last night - you did a great job and are so multi-talented!! I always feel a bit paralyzed when it comes to doing a table - I don't know why. I like doing everything else but the tablescape always gets me - do share your tips!
