Hope y'all had a great weekend. We are all fighting some phantom flu/cold bug that just won't leave our house and it took all the energy the hubs and I could muster to go out with the girls and get a tree. We managed to get it in the house, but now I need a burst of health to get it decorated. But, I know where I'll go for some holiday inspiration.
Today is the first day of The 12 Days of Christmas Tour of Homes. My tour won't be until next week (thank god) but today please do head over to Evolution of Style and see what a beautiful job Jenny has done with her home.
Follow along for the next 12 days for great inspiration and eye candy galore!
Have you finished your holiday decorations? Do you get a real tree or fake? Do you want to come over and help me with my tree? Happy Monday.
Hope you feel better soon!
ReplyDeleteI've got some kind of bug too Elizabeth. OY. Never at a convenient time. Lets just say for my home tour tomorrow there will be lots of messy piles shoved beyond the camera's lense :) Hope you are all feeling tons better soon!
ReplyDeleteI've had it too, Elizabeth. Get better soon, and I look forward to the tour.

ReplyDeleteOh I hope you feel better soon Elizabeth! The weather here just got chilly and I feel a little cold coming from just not bundling up better. Hope your tree gets decorated soon!

I'm excited to see your home all decked out for the holidays, but as far as being finished around here--no, no I am not done! It's usually a drawn-out process that ends only a few days before Christmas. Is that weird?
ReplyDeleteP.S. I hope you feel better!
I feel you. I'm not sick, but decorating our tree sucked all the energy out of me yesterday. We don't do anything fancy, but getting all those lights on is EXHAUSTING! Loving it now though :)
ReplyDeleteHope you and your gang feel better soon! We bought our tree this weekend but the only thing we managed to do was put the lights on! I have a feeling that decorating it will be an every-day-after-work project for the rest of the week. :)
ReplyDeleteI am super excited about this 12 Days of Christmas home tour! Jenny's house is AMAZING, and I am so looking forward to seeing yours!! I hope you all get well soon!!!

Sorry to hear you are not well. Hope it passes.
ReplyDeleteOn one note, this is going to be fun looking at all of your homes. On the other, I think we all have your cold/flu here at our house. It's terrible. I still haven't got our tree up either. I'm glad you don't have to do anything til next week. Hopefully it's gone by then. Good times.
ReplyDeleteHope you feel better soon!!
