bathroom

Before...
Grey poupon and black licorice. Not a winning combo on your plate or in your bathroom. Luckily the Holly Hobby wallpaper was already pealing off so removal was pretty quick.

...and After.
Deciding to renovate the only bathroom in our house while 9 months pregnant was probably not the best timing. But, my ever growing belly made the contractors feel so sorry for me they worked at world record speed. Simple subway tile all the way to the ceiling makes the (very) small charming space feel bigger and the white palette keeps the space bright. I continue to look for that perfect table just waiting to become my new petite vanity. You will be mine some day.

  2. Hi Elizabeth, I just had to leave a comment since I think we have the same bathroom. From the white subway tile up to the ceiling, to the little shelf above the toilet, to the pedestal sink (mine's actually wall-hung because I think our bathroom is even smaller than yours), to the layout, we were definitely on the same page! So funny! http://www.urbanorchardinteriors.com/bath/

  4. Hey Elizabeth!
We are about to do our bathroom, and I'm loving the half frosted window in the shower/tub. Did you have to take the preexisting window out to measure before you could order the new one? The idea of having a hole in my house for longer than 12 hours freaks me out.

  5. Nice uses of light and dark and red and green as accents. You do a super job. Thank you for sharing. I don't know if I would want to remodel a whole house at my age. We need to do our kitchen tho, so that will be a project for the fall and winter months... (we are too busy outside this time of year). see ya!
