Good design is all in the details. (knit that on a pillow - genius right?) And truly great details can shine in fashion just as well as in interiors. One of the details I'm loving lately is scallops. I love them on my plate and I'm loving them in design.
What about you? What details are you loving?
So funny you posted this! I love me a good scallop! I actually have my seamstress coming over today to measure a couple of chairs for slipcovers and I want to do one in scallops. She is not that keen on doing it - I guess it is v. tedious work (and a dying art). I hope I can twist her arm!! I love all your pics!
ReplyDeleteI love the scallops. I also love the painted wicker on the sconce. Fresh and spring!
ReplyDeleteI never paid attention to the scalloped detail before but will now for sure
ReplyDeleteI love scallops and designed and sewed a dress for a little girl in college. I still have it and love it. I need to post about it on my blog~ Details do make all the difference. Love your spiffy blog..
